A lifelong environmentalist, she has introduced Private Members’ Bills on Emergency Preparedness, Flooding Awareness, Extreme Heat, and the creation of an All Party Climate Change Caucus. Both inside and outside of Queen’s Park, MaryMargaret is sharply focused on advocating for bold climate policy, improved healthcare, better housing solutions, safer schools, and reliable transportation for her community and all Ontarians.

Whether it is working across party lines in the Chamber or promoting people power in the community, she ensures everyone’s voices are heard and ideas are valued. With her endless energy and creativity, MaryMargaret is a true collaborator.

“I’m ecstatic to once again have the chance to represent my community as the MPP for the beautiful riding of Beaches—East York; to be the voice for everyone, especially those most in need of support in our community. Mary-Margaret McMahon
